Other companies which produce portable camping heater equipment include Stansport and Pelonis and both these companies also produce some excellent portable heaters. The Pelonis Disc Furnace V is one of the best and is one of the most powerful portable heaters on the market. However it is a little more expensive at around $120.
Generally these types of heaters will be powered either by propane or electricity/battery and obviously when using a heater indoors safety can be an issue, especially in a tent. However many of them have excellent built in safety features meaning that as long as they are used sensibly and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions you should have little problem with them.
